My scribbles from “Building Great Sentences”

Dear future Jason,
Please dedicate time, so that everything we learn can properly put into their appropriate places.

It comes to bite us in the arse otherwise, when we either can’t find what we want or get exhausted trying to tackle a mountain of illegible scribbles, or just plain abandon stuff. Makes us sad.

Specially considering that we’re going to tackle several large things now, please give yourself the time and energy and attention it takes to write down what you did. If not evening, then in the morning.

Considering that our reading now hews ever more towards the oldies, towards things slow and wise, becoming less escapist and more thoughtful, we ought to treat it with the reverence it deserves.

P.S. It’ll help your back as well!

P.P.S Stop comparing yourself to your younger friends and colleagues who burn bright. Be deliberate. Be intentional.
