  • Late start. Just out of the bath. Be back in probably an hour. After breakfast

  • Did some work. Realised that my wants have already outgrown what my cluster can provide 😂
  • Flux CD attempted three automatic upgrades and succeded with two. Only Miniflux borked. For now I just recreated everything (Settings were already in a configmap and feeds are always at hand in an OPML. Most I will lose is my reading progress which does not matter to me.) Took all of 5 minutes. The work I put into doing this cluster thing has already paid off in spades! Not to mention Kanboard and Joplin upgrades going through without fuss! This is amazing!
  • 2026-01-08 11:58: So for the future? I’ll come back to this once I am done with the AWS project. From my little research, what I need now is observability and then planned deployments. (Prometheus and Flagger will most probably be the tools in my case.)
