Goals

I was wondering yesterday, just how to go about automating the whole thing. My main way of learning is to do it manually and learn by iteration. But what I want in the end is a written document that I can use to reproduce my whole infrastructure automatically. Priyanka suggested—when I was noodling about this with her—that I could just do everything manually and then document it in code as a second step. It’d just mean running an extra hetzner VM (or a local one). Sounds good.
2025-11-03 09:04: Duplicated the folders
2025-11-03 09:23: Spun up a second Hetzner instance. Now I really get it! Adaptation to spin up barely took a few minutes!
2025-11-03 10:24: Will need to figure out just how to save data automatically or at least have a protocol to do it consistently, even if manually
2025-11-03 19:43: Got it to install
Tomorrow, replace my local ip with the hetzer ip so i can access it from my desktop. also find a way to get terraform to give me a copy of the kubeconfig
