- 2025-10-22 08:22: Got distracted by the fact that I wanted to run a browser window in a buffer alongside this post as I compose it.
Will see how to do that in the eve. Off to work - 2025-10-22 09:04: The Azure web interface is &^%$#@!
- 2025-10-22 09:56: It feels like playing a video game. One wrong click and uh oh! Now do it all over again. Now I know the need for declarative files. No one in their right mind would keep doing this shit over and over
- 2025-10-22 09:57: Ooh! Success! atleast it does not give me any verification errors. Now to let Azure Web create the cluster, while I go on a tea break

- Getting back to work
- We need a container registry. Off to azure to create one
- Most basic stuff on Azure seems to work if I set the region to somewhere in India or Asia. The US only seems to have higher end resources for use. (Purely my current assumption)
- 2025-10-22 11:01: done! I’m gettin the hang of this, Dorothy!
- 2025-10-22 11:28: Being used to the speed of my local system, a remote cluster seems godawfully slow
- 2025-10-22 11:59: Everything works! Teardown of resources feels easier on Azure than on AWS
- 2025-10-22 12:25: Lunch
2025-10-22 18:00
- Now to get cracking on the itch that I wanted scratched in the morn
- Nope. “That juice ain’t worth the squeeze”, as one of L’Amour’s gun slinging cowboys would say. Simpler to stick to a dedicated Cinnamon workspace. This should teach me that one ought not to go chasing rabbit holes when there’s deep work to be done
- Tomorrow’s planned. Open loops closed. Schedule shutdown, complete.
Off to some cheesy country music, dinner and bed.
