Emacs!

  • 08:55, Trying to download and compile emacs!
  • 09:53, Switching to the normal text editor to continue this post, since my emacs is down
  • 09:54, struggling with a webkit library error. Will solve later after my client meeting
  • 13:15, Got emacs up and running! There seems to be a typo in the Makefile. or some malformed expression. I don’t know. I just deleted, what I thought was the offending line and then everything went through smoothly.
    Also took the time to simplify my ./configure with options
    GNU Emacs 30.1.50 (build 1, x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.24.41, cairo version 1.18.0)
    I’m a happy camper :)
